From next month, we will in the Plaza 3 times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays (day on which we write up) and Thursdays! We are delighted to have been granted this authorization by the Quito Municipio as this means our work in the street will be taken up to 10 hours! Strengthened by the Mobile School we will be providing our kids (and new ones to become we trust!) with longer hours, new spaces and innovative tools for them to discover a world full of opportunities to express themselves, play, enjoy and learn!

What is DS&H?
Founded in Ecuador in April 2009, Desarrollo Social y Hábitat (DS&H) focused on empowering children and adolescents at risk, as well as their families, to strenghthen their rights through greater emotional, educational and training development.
Following an initial book project with kids at risk in 2008, Viajando con Niños, DS&H, in partnership with Fe y Alegría, the largest popular education provider in Latin America, decided to take education to the streets and launched Cuéntamelo Todo Quito in June 2009 and Cuéntamelo Todo Ibarra, in October 2011.
Over 2010, DS&H also carried out a consultancy for Save the Children on violence against children and adolescents in Ecuador and a baseline study in Quito to deliver a profesionnal cooking training for mothers in prison.
